By applying weather targeting to your AdWords campaign or Facebook ad set you give WeatherAds permission to activate and deactivate your campaign/ ad set based on the weather.
To make an AdWords campaign or Facebook ad set with live weather targeting inactive, you must:
First switch off the live weather targeting within WeatherAds
Then pause your campaign within AdWords or Facebook
Simply pausing the campaign in Facebook or AdWords, whilst the weather targeting is still running live in WeatherAds is not sufficient. It is likely that WeatherAds will reactivate your paused campaign or ad set if your weather targeting rules are met again for some of your geos.
