You can choose between 'audience targeting' and 'single location targeting'. This feature lets you sync your ads with real-time weather for your business location - regardless of where your audience is located.

This feature is aimed at  brands in the travel and tourism space such as holiday destinations, ski resorts and tourist attractions, who can now promote themselves to audiences that are located in a different part of the country, when their own weather is looking good for business.

Example use case for single location targeting

A ski resort can set up rules in WeatherAds to trigger whenever a heavy dump of snow was forecast for their resort. The ads would be displayed to audiences within a radius of 200km of the resort, regardless of the weather they were experiencing.

The ads could read:

"Fresh powder forecast for this weekend at X resort, book your ski pass now."
